Ahmad Newton is the owner and president of Ventura Black Widows Football Team.

Ahmad was looking on the Internet for arena football, when he saw a link for the Women’s Football Association seeking an owner for a team in Ventura. His interest piqued, Newton decided to give it a try.

The Ventura Black Widows are an independent women’s football team. They joined the Women’s Spring Football League in 2010.
