Dads, Grads and Commencements

It’s that time of year, again. Time for Dads, Grads and Commencement speeches. Father’s Day is approaching, hence the focus on dads. Most school graduations are also approaching, hence Grads and Commencement.

Commencement means to go forward or begin. In a school setting, this occasion is typically accentuated by a Commencement Speech given by a notable person.

One of the best Commencement Speeches I’ve even seen is Steve Jobs‘s Commencement Speech at Stanford University in 2004. If you haven’t seen it, check out this YouTube video of it:
