Dave Mason (born 10 May 1946) is a musician, singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Worcester, England.
Dave first found fame with the rock band Traffic as a founding member of that group
In his long career, Dave has played and recorded with many of the era’s most notable musicians, including Jimi Hendrix, Delaney Bramlett, Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Fleetwood Mac and Cass Elliot.
Dave is best known for his song is Feelin’ Alright, recorded by Traffic in 1968 and covered by dozens of artists.
Later, Dave is known for the song We Just Disagree, a 1977 solo hit written by Jim Krueger.
As an active philanthropist, Dave is a proponent of music education for children. In 2005, he signed on as an official supporter of Little Kids Rock, a non-profit organization that provides free musical instruments and lessons to children in public schools.
Dave’s top philanthropic cause is Work Vessels for Veterans that helps returning veterans start their own businesses.
