Ernie Weckbaugh is a hero any way you look at it. Ernie is one of the original Little Rascals from the Hal Roach Our Gang Comedies of the 1930s and 1940s.
Ernie became my hero today when he agreed to appear as a guest on BRAINSTORMIN’ with Billy the Brain at the last minute. Fearlessly, he stepped into the breech and conducted a 30-minute radio interview with no advance warning.
Ernie is also a hero for donating his blood—26 gallons, in all. He has a rare blood type, A-, and donating blood is his way of giving back to the community for all he’s received in his life. Way to go, Ernie!
