I knew when I booked Jeffery Deaver as a guest on BRAINSTORMIN’ with Billy the Brain I’d want to discuss the plot line of his latest book, The Burning Wire.

I asked him if he was worried that criminals or, worse still, terrorists might take his plot of hijacking the power grid in New York City and use it against us. After all, Tom Clancey wrote about crashing a jet airliner into a building and killing all those inside a few years before 9/11.

Jeffery responded that he was aware of his responsibility as an author and didn’t include anything in the book that is detailed enough to be turned against us. Phew!
