Leslie Carroll Tells Of Royal Pains From History’s Brats, Brutes and Bad Seeds

Leslie Carroll, author of Royal Pains

Leslie Carroll was born in Manhattan and raised in the Bronx. She received a stellar primary education at the Fieldston School in Riverdale. Much of who she is, however, was shaped by her two grandmothers, who encouraged her to follow her bliss.

When physical limitations prevented her from becoming a ballerina, she turned to writing. There were authors on both sides of her family.

Leslie is a multi-published author in three genres, as well as a freelance journalist. She acts, in her spare time.

Aside from her college education which she received in upstate New York at Cornell University, Leslie is a native New York City resident. She shares a birthday with F. Scott Fitzgerald and Jim Henson.

Leslie, her husband and their new puppy, split time between New York City and pastoral Vermont.
