Simon Hobbs is an anchor, based at CNBC Global Headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, N.J.

Simon is an award-winning anchor and previously anchored a number of programs on CNBC Europe, most recently European Closing Bell and Europe Tonight.

Simon was also host of The Leaders, a series of one-to-one interviews with Europe’s business and political elite.

Simon began his career in radio, producing some of the biggest names in UK broadcasting before moving to television. H

Simon was named International TV Presenter of the Year by the Association for International Broadcasters in 2006.

Simon holds a bachelor’s of science degree in economics from University College London.
