His latest book lists 12 Surprising Trends that Will Reshape the Global Economy titled Outrageous Fortunes.

Helen Wang is a leading authority on China and the Chinese economy. She tells us about the burgeoning Chinese Middle Class and what it means for the United States.

Yunte Chang author of the book Charlie Chan: The Untold Story of the Honorable Detective and his Rendezvous with American History, follows a trail of clues that leads to Honolulu and the deeply impressive career of Chang Apana, the Chinese-born detective on whom the character was based.

Ron Nief, co-author of the Beliot College Mindset List gave the findings from this year’s survey of the graduating Class of 2014. It showed a definite generation gap. The incoming freshmen have a different approach to problem solving and less patience for scholarship. They also remind us of how old we are.
