The App economy is booming. $25 billion will be spent on apps in 2013, up from $12 billion in 2012—a 108% increase. Portio Research estimates that figure will jump to $63.5 billion in 2017.
The App economy is one of the trendiest professions today. Between 466,000-800,000 new jobs were created within the App economy from 2007-2012.
