Tim Belton Tells Of His Invention To Help Returning Combat Vets, The AnswerRing®

Tim Belton, inventor of The AnswerRing®

Tim Belton is a practicing architect and an inventor. Tim combined his interest in patterns of human behavior with his design skills to create The AnswerRing—a unique educational system designed for returning combat veterans.

For as many as 1 out of 3 returning combat vets from Iraq or Afghanistan, a new battle awaits them when they return home. These vets will experience feelings of isolation, thoughts of suicide or interpersonal conflicts and the “warrior personality” will prevent them from realizing there is a problem.

The AnswerRing is a handheld device that allows returning vets to quickly and privately identify their post-deployment problem and receive immediate suggestions where to seek help.
