Valerie Geller is president of Geller Media International, a broadcast consulting firm working with news, talk, information and personality programming for radio and television throughout the world.
She is the author of four books about radio. Her most recent title is Beyond Powerful Radio—A Communicator’s Guide to the Internet Age.
Valerie is the recipient of the Conclave’s prestigious 2010 Rockwell Award for LIfetime Achievement in Radio
For the past several years she has been named by Radio Ink magazine as one of the 50 Most Influential Women in Radio.
Valerie has also guest lectured at several universities throughout the world including Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and New York University in New York City.
In 1988, Valerie helped launch the talk format at KFI/Los Angeles.
In 1990 she programmed one of America’s premier news/talk stations, WABC in New York.
Geller Media International is based in New York City. Valerie joins us from Hollywood where she is preparing for the Worldwide Radio Summit.
