Viki Kind Shares Her Experience As A Caregiver

Viki Kind, author of The Caregiver’s Path to Compassionate Decision Making: Making Choices For Those Who Can't

Over 5 million people in the United States have lost or will lose their ability to decide. One in four people will need someone else to decide for them as they face the end of their life.

This is such an important topic confronting so many Americans, Viki Kind has written a book from her experience and training to address this growing epidemic. The book is titled The Caregiver’s Path to Compassionate Decision Making:  Making Choices For Those Who Can’t.

Among the excellent advice Viki gave, she suggests that everyone should have an Advanced Directive for their wishes in the event they are incapacitated. The Advanced Directive is an updated term for the combined Living Will and Durable Power of Attorney.
