Doug Glanville guest defied the odds. He grew up in Teaneck—not Hackensack—New Jersey, got good grades and was enrolled in engineering school at an Ivy League university when he got the call he was drafted into the Major Leagues of baseball by the Chicago Cubs. We discuss his Major League career, and the importance of getting good grades and finishing your education from his book The Game From Where I Stand.
