Artimus Pyle communicates through music. He was the drummer for Lynyrd Skynyrd, one of the popular Southern Rock bands of the 1970s. He was inducted into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame in 2006. Even more remarkable than his musical career is that he survived the 1977 plane crash that killed Ronnie Van Zant, Cassie and Steve Gaines.
