Melissa McCarty is a seasoned television news reporter and anchor with more than fifteen years experience—most recently with CBS-2 and KCAL-9 news in Los Angeles.

Throughout her career, however, Melissa hid her tumultuous upbringing and chaotic family life from friends and colleagues…until now.

She’s written an autobiography titled News Girls Don’t Cry in which she opens up about her past and how it drove her to where she is today—a host for Newsbreaker a division of ORA TV a new, cutting edge, TV network online created by the legendary Larry King and Mexican businessman Carlos Slim.
