Judge Harry Walsh is a 14-year veteran of the civil trial department, having presided over hundreds of civil trials.

Judge Walsh serves with distinction as the Presiding Judge of the Appellate Division of the Superior Court.

Appointed to the bench by Gov. Pete Wilson in 1998, he was elected without opposition in 2000 and reelected without opposition in 2006.

He was named Ventura County’s “Judge of the Year” in 2002.

Judge Walsh is a former Air Force officer, a graduate of Stanford University and Loyola University School of Law.
