Diane Goldstein Discusses The “Regulate Marijuana Like Wine” 2012 Ballot Initiative
Diane Goldstein served with the Redondo Beach Police Department for more than 20 years. She retired as a Lieutenant.
She started as a strong supporter of the war on drugs, but over the course of her career, she reconsider her position, both because of what she saw professionally and personally.
Over her career she arrested a significant number of people for drug use and possession. But she came to realize this didn’t help anyone.
Diane is a spokesperson for Regulate Marijuana Like Wine, an organization placing another marijuana legalization initiative on the 2012 ballot.
