Sebastian Mallaby is the Paul A. Volcker senior fellow for international economics at the Council on Foreign Relations and a Washington Post columnist.

He spent 13 years at The Economist magazine covering international finance in London and serving as bureau chief in Southern Africa, Japan and Washington.

Sebastian spent eight years on the editorial board of the Washington Post focusing on globalization and political economy.

His latest book is titled More Money Than God: Hedge Funds And The Making Of A New Elite.

Sebastian was educated at Oxford, graduating with a First Class degree in modern history.
