Steve Greenberg is an invention groupie.
Born into a family of patent filers, Steve has always recognized the importance of America’s inventors. That’s why he wrote a book about America’s garage inventors, called GADGET NATION: A Journey Through The Eccentric World of Invention.
As “The Innovation Insider,” Steve travels the country looking for innovative products.
Steve is seen on national television shows such as NBC’s Today Show, CBS’s Early Show, ABC’s World News This Morning and World News Now, Fox & Friends, and others.
For three years Steve could be seen nationally every weeknight demonstrating innovative products on the Discovery Channel’s Your New House. For six years Steve was on HGTV’s very popular Dream Builders. For Dream Builders, Steve traveled the country showcasing the latest in home design, construction and trends.
Steve writes for several magazines, newspapers and websites. His “Innovation Insider” features appear in the Miami Herald, Air Currents magazine, ROOMS magazine, Smart Homeowner magazine, and others.
Before he made his beat about innovation, Steve was a full-time television news reporter, working at the CBS-owned station in Miami.
Steve has been honored with 12 Emmy Awards.
