David McCallum Speaks Of His Acting Career And His Current Role As “Ducky” On NCIS
David McCallum, Jr. is an actor and musician.
David was born in Glasgow. He attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
He did his National Service where he was commissioned into the Middlesex Regiment and seconded to the Gold Coast Regiment.
David received two Emmy nominations in the course of the The Man From U.N.C.L.E.’s four-year run.
Currently, David stars in the CBS television series NCIS as Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard, the Medical Examiner.
Interestingly, David is a classically trained oboist.
He will be in Oxnard to be the featured speaker at the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce Military Appreciation Dinner. The Military Appreciation Dinner honors enlisted personnel from all the branches of the military. I’ve had a crush on Mr. McCallum since I first saw Illya Kuryakin on MFU. More than that, I simply admire the man’s talent and abilities – and it’s nice to see that he’s appreciated. Wish I could be there to see him in person!
