Dr. Carlos Campo, President Of Regent University, Discusses Christians In The Media & Immigration
Carlos Campo, Ph.D., became president of Regent University on August 1, 2010. He joined Regent as vice president for academic affairs in 2008, following an impressive 20-year career in higher education.
Carlos is a much sought-after speaker, speaking at universities in the United States and around the world.
Campo is a four-time recipient of one of academia’s most coveted recognitions, “Who’s Who Among American Teachers,” an accolade that is student-generated, recognizing a professor who has had a significant impact on the nominating student’s life.
He holds a Ph.D. in English (Drama Emphasis), a Master of Arts (English) and a Bachelor of Arts (Theater) from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
Carlos and his wife, Karen, reside in Chesapeake and have three adult children. He enjoys playing tennis, biking, reading and picnicking on the beach with family and friends.
