Dr. Mardy Grothe lived and practiced in New England for over twenty-five years. Originally trained as an individual therapist and marriage counselor, he expanded his practice to the business arena in the early 1980s.
In 1984, Inc. magazine called him a pioneer in the new and emerging field of “business therapy.”
Mardy is the author of several business and language books. His latest book is titled Neverisms: A Quotation Lover’s Guide to Things You Should Never Do, Never Say Or Never Forget.
Born and raised in North Dakota, Mardy graduated from the University of North Dakota. In 1974, he received a Ph.D. in psychology at Columbia University in New York City.
Mardy and his wife Katherine live in Raleigh, North Carolina. They have four grown children and one grandchild.
