Eric Jerome Dickey‘s latest novel, Tempted By Trouble, is set against a backdrop of recession and unemployment in this latest recession. The central theme is, “how far would one go to provide for one’s family?”

The book’s protagonist, Dmytryk, is  on the horns of a dilemma between good and evil by taking him out of his middle-class existence and thrusting him into a life of crime. Financial troubles and marital strife lead him to the dilemma.

The book is meticulously researched, Eric went so far as to drive his car along the various routes Dmytryk uses in the novel.
