Howard Lindzon is the Co-founder and CEO of StockTwits. He has over twenty years experience in the financial community acting in both an entrepreneurial and investing capacity.

Howard has spent the last 12 years managing his hedge fund, Lindzon Capital Partners, and is Managing Partner at Social Leverage, LLC, a holding company that invests in and incubates consumer web businesses.

Howard has tremendous insight into new media and is a very active angel investor.

He created Wallstrip, and over 400 original web video shows, which was purchased by CBS Corp. in 2007.

He has made many successful angel investments including: Rent.com, (sold to Ebay in 2005 for $415 million), Golfnow.com (purchased by Comcast in June 2008), Lifelock (lead investors include Bessemer Venture Partners and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers), and Internet Brands (NASDAQ).

Howard’s new media and internet business investments include: MyTrade.com (purchased by Think or Swim in December 2008, NASD SWIM), Limos.com, Blogtalkradio.com, Buddy Media, TubeMogul, Bit.ly and Tweetdeck, to name a few.

Today, Howard is co-founder & CEO of StockTwits®, an open, community-powered investment idea network, which has offices in New York City and San Diego.

Howard received an MBA at Arizona State University and an MIM from The American Graduate School of International Management.

He resides in Coronado, CA with his lovely wife of 15 years and two children.
