Julia Brownley Discusses Her Platform For The US House Of Representatives

Julia Brownley, Democratic candidate for the US House of Representatives, 26th District

Julia Brownley was elected to the Assembly in 2006 to represent Oxnard, Port Hueneme, Oak Park and Westlake Village—a position she holds today.

She is currently serving her fourth year as Chairwoman of the Assembly Education Committee, and is the only Assemblymember who serves on every educational committee in the Assembly.

Julia has a B.A. in political science from George Washington University and an M.B.A. from American University.

Julia resides in Oak Park. She has a son who lives in Ventura County and a daughter who currently lives in France.
