Peggy Nicholson is Chairperson for the 36th Annual Planned Parenthood Book Sale. She’s held the Chairperson position for, at least, the past two years.

The 2010 Book Sale begins Thursday, September 23, 2010 with a Gala Grand Opening at the Earl Warren Show Grounds in Santa Barbara. The Book Sale lasts 10 days.

Peggy organizes, motivates and coordinates a team of volunteers and staff to conduct the largest used book sale West of the Rocky Mountains. Book dealers, antiquarians and the general public swarm Earl Warren Show Grounds searching for rare, hard-to-find and used books.

Last year, the Book Sale raised over $126,000 for the organization. This year, Peggy hopes to exceed that amount.
