Steve Hutkins Crusades To Save The Post Office
Steven Hutkins is an Associate Professor of English at New York University.
He received his Ph.D. in English Renaissance literature from NYU, Masters in English from NYU and his BA in English from the University of Wisconsin.
His current teaching and research interests focus on place studies and travel literature. In 1998, he received NYU’s Distinguished Teaching Award.
His current crusade is to save the US Post Office.
Steve was featured in Time Magazine articles in late 2011.
Thus far our postoffice isn’t on the chopping block (29270). It IS a community hub for many; of the townsfolk as well as those in the township.

I’m pleased to learn that your Post Office isn’t on the chopping block. It sounds as though your Post Office is vital to your community. Let’s hope the government continues to see the value of keeping your Post Office open for the residents of your area.
