James Grippando is the national bestselling author of sixteen novels that are enjoyed worldwide in twenty-six languages.
He likes to quip that he is no longer clueless. This transformation occurred in June 2005, when “A James Grippando Novel” was the clue to number 38 Across in the New York Times crossword puzzle.
For the last 9 years, James has served as counsel for the law firm Boies Schiller & Flexner LLP. In January 2009, the firm filed one of the first class action suits on behalf of Bernie Madoff’s victims. So for the past several years he has been a keen observer of the efforts of his firm and others who have fought to recover billions in losses for Madoff’s victims, and therefore has a unique perspective on where the money went.
James holds his Bachelor of Arts and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida.
