Sheldon Brown is a licensed architect who opened his private practice in 1968—which he still operates today, even while founding and running the Ventura Breeze.
He is a graduate of the USC school of Architecture.
Sheldon launched the Ventura Breeze in October 2007 with his daughter Staci to inform Venturans about events, happenings and local news because there was no local, community-based newspaper.
He has lived in Ventura for the last 10 years with his wife, Diane, and for the last 7 years with Professor Scamp who occasionally helps to write his articles.
