Forty percent of people polled believe they are at risk to lose their job becasue of something they posted online, according to Gloria Allred.

Gloria told one chilling case of a woman named Jane, the wife of a Long Island doctor, who had a difficult day and posted “I wish I were dead” online. As a result she was locked up in the psych ward.

Comments posted on websites like WorkSucks.com and GlassDoor.com may negatively effect one’s employment.

What you post online remains online forever. Gloria warns to think carefully before posting anything to a social media website.
