Margaret McLean Explains SOPA And PIPA Laws On “Watercooler Monday”

Attorney MARGARET A. MCLEAN is an adjunct law professor at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management, specializing in business and constitutional law.

She’s the author of a legal thriller, Under Fire, features an arson and murder trial.

Her second novel, Under Oath, will be published in April 2012. She’s co-written a dramatic courtroom play, based on her second novel, which is in development with the Producers and Directors Unit at the Actor’s Studio in New York City.

Margaret were born in Rome, New York.

She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston College.

She earned your law degree from Boston College Law School, and practiced law as an Essex County Assistant District Attorney in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

She also practiced law as a civil litigation attorney for the Hanover Insurance Company.

She serves as the President of Mystery Writers of America, New England Chapter.

Margaret also volunteers in Boston’s inner city schools teaching creative writing through Write Boston.

She lives in Norwell, Massachusetts with her three children.  She enjoys tennis, skiing, and windsurfing.
