Marshall Berol has worked as an investment advisor in San Francisco for the past 16 years, specializing in several investment areas, including: special situations, undervalued and underappreciated assets, preferred stocks and real estate investments of all types.
He has been the Chief Investment Officer of Malcolm H. Gissen & Associates for six years.
Marshall has been an active investor in the Secondary Market for Limited Partnerships, often acquiring interests in partnerships at discounts of 50% – 90%.
In 30 years of investing, Marshall has developed expertise in financial services companies and real estate investment trusts (REIT’s).
Prior to becoming an investment advisor, he was in the private practice of law for 17 years.
