A Ventura County native son, Tom Holt, wasn’t into school and studying. He wanted to race motocross. He was good at it—quite good, in fact. So good, he left the United States and traveled abroad to pursue his passion.

He went to Brazil where he became a famous “American” motocross rider. He had his share of celebrity, success and injuries. One day, he had one of those awakenings. He decided to return to the US, return to school, get his college degree and pursue a business career.

He’s been successful at starting and operating two separate businesses. Currently, he is CEO of Urbane Café—now with four locations.
